Margarita Martinez is a full-time freelance editor with many years of experience and has worked with School Match 4U clients since 2016. Previously, she taught English literature and freelanced part-time for fifteen years. She works directly with authors on developmental editing, copy edits, and proofreads. Her goal is to work in partnership with authors, guiding them through the writing process as necessary, until they’re fully satisfied that a manuscript is ready to submit for publication.
Our School Match 4U coaches read student essays for the message and recommend content edits. Margarita suggests grammar, syntax, punctuation, and spelling edits. She produces clean copies of essays ready for submission, along with versions showing the edits. She’s an invaluable member of the SM4U team.
